Ski day

One day on the slopes = a ton of video an pics which = a very long post!

The kids were up early and ready to ski!

Once we were all ready, the girls set off with the kids to drop them off at the ski school for the day.  Ili went to get his ski's and get to his lesson, Paul went and hit the slopes.   

 The red on teh helmet is the "class" he is in.  It was for first timers

 As the wind picks up, the sunlight reflecting off the snow, with the slopes in the back ground, absolutely gorgeous!

The kids ski lift is against the wall.  Im now at the bottom of the slope.  Jaime is just behind the red flag.

If you watch from the blue archway you'll see Jaime come down.  I know its small, but it shows my little man skiing!

After making sure Jaime was all settled in we set off on an exploration to check out the resort

Back to the room for lunch and nap time:

On our way up went drove through up state New York.   Amish country.  We stopped off this Amish country store.  Pretty cool walking around and checking out different products and trying to figure out how other people live.  Our best find, milk bottles, glass!  Take note of the ingredients, it contains milk.  Yes ONLY milk! definitely deserved a purchase an a picture lol

Second round - find Jaime and Ili.


We took a walk into the ski "town" another adventure.

From the bottom, a look up the slope.  Can u see how steep it is?  Yeah those slopes are for the more experienced skier.

And look who I find chilling, people watching!

After a quick catch up, ili is showing us what he has learnt.

Pretty much for the next 2 hours we watched Ili go up and down and Jaime go up and down.

 Both Ili and Jaime are now officially skiers!

And while we pack our bags, the skiers relax their muscle in the hot tub!

Great weekend!  Def want to do that again, next year.  Maybe do the local slopes, anyone interested???
