The circus

When the circus is in town, you just have to have to go!

 

And so we do..

 

Due to the weather being so cold this circus is held in the school gym... not quite what we expecting but ok we'll roll with it

Mateo has this wierd rah on his body.  First thing that pops into your head is ring worm right.  Next thought is OMG there is a worm in there...then you look closer to see if it moves, then you thing its just dry skin, then you google... bad idea!  FYI do not do it!

Turns out its just eczema and some moisturizer will do the trick!

Sunday garden work

Another day, the sun is still hiding, the weather still has the chill but its still another day to investigate, learn and of course have some fun!

Today we attempt to dent a hole in the abyss we call our garden, or rather the yard.   By a hole I mean clear the hundreds and thousands and infinity amount f leaves and dead plant matter that covers every surface of our garden.

And underneath all of that, is this...

With all this as Spring inspiration, we head inside to create our own miracle of nature. 

Even in the shelter of the garage, Spring has squeezed itself in, and we welcome it!!! 

Back outside we go.  Yes this is how the day goes, inside, outside, inside, outside...everything is up and down, projects everywhere!

Meeting Maia

And this Saturday we get to meet Miss Maia Carapinha!

Always great meeting a new little person. 

 Avo Carapinha was visiting from SA so was good meeting and chatting and catching up.   

Good company, coffee and malacadas always makes a Saturday go down well!

Finally a weekend

With the cold weather and work tress it feels like the week just drags on and on and on.  So when Saturday hits, we literally unwind to the extreme!

The boys are up early, thankfully they mess around together, giving me time to at least have my fist cup of coffee

On a Saturday there is always some sort of project going on.  Today is a lego house, garden, and monster car 

And of every Saturday is crazy hair day!
