February mid winter madness

And just some random February moments that have no real home but worth the mention, just cause they involve my boys and well, I just love them!

Jaime making sure Mateo is safe while climbing up the side of the stairs.

Blowing away the winter blues with belly rasberries:

Game of ah-BOO!

Chilling beside the pool, watching Jaime master his swimming

I think our "keep Mateo off the stairs" barrier is really working for us!

Teeth

Today, ili drove an hour away in a snow storm, to the closest pediatric dentist. They needed to see if there was major damage to the root.
thankfully there is no damage. All they needed to do was grind the sharp edges down. Thankfully I was not around for that, but according to Jaime, Mateo screamed and screamed. BUT that was a good thing, cause his mouth was open and the dentist could do what he had to!

and still a happy chappy even after todays events. So all is good again, we just need to monitor the gums for any swelling, tooth colouring and if any change in his eating (yeah right, nothing stops this kid from eating!)

Just happenings

After watching a whole family of deer, 10+ deer, cross the road and our yard

we do a little crazy dance on the bed...

Jaime spelling out 'love' with his bands

and, possibly the best, my boys and there favorites. Jaime with dolpfy and Mateo with macaco...

What part of "only on paper" is hard to understand??

Lately I sound like a broken record and I'm just not sure how to fix it.

We can throw this away

Its only a phase - and this to shall pass...

Disney on Ice

As a Thank you gift my client gave me tickets for Jaime and I to go see Disney on Ice.  This was an amazing gift and definitely something I wasn't going to pass off.

Today being a public holiday, Jaime was off school, so I took half a day and decided to spend some time with my boys.

Disney on ice was at the TD Garden in Boston - the home of the Celtics.
Jaime loved looking at the showcases, reading about the history of the game and its players.

We find our seats

And the show begins:

Half time

Jaime was on the edge of his seat the whole show.  Mateo well he couldn't care two hoots.  This surprised me, cause the lights were bright, characters large, music enticing.  But not enough for Mr Mateo.  The only exception, the Trex from Toy story!

Grand Finale!
