Kindergarten - the orientation

 So my little, ummm big Mr Jaime starts school today, its his first day in kindergarten aka big school.

Today we, Jaime, Ili and I go to school.  We meet the teacher, get oriented with the school and meet some new friends and parents.  Sounds exciting...and guess what?  I'm nervous!  Jaime on the other hand is so excited that getting up and ready in the morning was a flinch!

Jaime at the front door, he looks so small in front of the big school! 

 As soon as we arrived we were introduced to Ms Bacchiachi, his teacher.  We were then instructed to follow the instructions on the board.  It was a list of 10 things we had to do like:


Find his cubby

Take a picture

Find the work station

Make a hand print - the kissing hand
(This is to be given to someone who will miss him tomorrow while he is at school)

Make a name tag

Jaime and Maya - look how big Jaime's gingerbread man's smile is, literally ear to ear!

Listen to a story and listen to Mrs Bacchiacchi as she explains whats going to happen tomorrow on the bus and odds and end us parents need to know

We all then got to go to the canteen and have some lunch.  Jaime and I got to pretend like we were buying lunch.  Its expected that the kids know how to order and buy their own lunch.  My baby boy is growing up so fast!!!

Then we got to play a little outside on the playgrounds

This was the perfect introduction to school.  Jaime is so excited for his bus ride to school, and again he has shown me that I stress to much and that he is growing up to be a confident smart little guy!
