Moms day off

Today was a typical movie day, it rained the whole day! Today was extra special - Moms got the day off to go watch a movie, while the dads watched over the kids mmm some mom time was well needed and well enjoyed!

The rest of today was pretty much spent chilling and vegging...

A little photo shoot with the boys...well we tried ....

Then finally some "quiet" time with Auntie Lulu watching baby Einstein "Music of the world"...mmm however there is a defect in the program cause it had quite the opposite effect the boys were running wild 5min into the show...ai yai yai!

Jaime's first...

Today Jaime experienced...

  • Dad's first celebrated birthday in the US

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY

  • First day in Boston
  • (Holding hands in the car while mom battles through traffic)

  • First time in Citibank

  • First taste of Thai food

  • First time watching Dad pump gas (yes pump not push!)

  • First time meeting Aunty Boo

  • First time wrestling Dad with his cuz

"We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have"

Happy Birthday Love, hope you had a wonderful day, Jaime and I love and appreciate you *MWAH*

Jaime's FIRST beach day!

Jet lag mmmm Jaime gives jet lag another meaning! 3am this morning, Mr Jaime woke us up singing the national anthem - American and South African! ai yai yai plus the prospect of going to the beach for the first time really excited Jaime!

9am Tio Peter, Tia Laura, Robby, Ili, Jaime and myself set off for the beach, Horseneck beach.
My red indian ...hey we havent seen this much sun in 4 months he needs the protection ok ;-)

yo yo dad!

Chilling on the beach with my cuzzie...

The first touch of the ocean ...lol...the toes curled up, the feet curled up, and his fingers dug into my arms ... not from excitement!

this beach business was way to much...

My new friends in front of the sand castle... starting from the left its Robby, Jaime and Coleen's (Laura's friend) kids...I'll get to know names soon soon

Jaime is still not into textures yet. The sand and water mix was't a big winner in Jaime's favourite things but it did't stop him from hanging around with his cuzzie and watching him play in the sand and pebbles.

zoom into his toes check how they all curled up lol he would't let them touch the sand ha ha while crawling on the sand he would use his wrists just to avoid the fingers touching the sand...

A pic especially for my Avo - Im standing, all on my own in my new soccer shorts and t shirt - look Avo they fit!!

Visiting our ama-zing familia in Fairhaven MA

Yip that's rights, we're in Fairhaven MA, Massachusetts, visiting my brother Peter, SIL Laura and my Godchild Robby. for a whole 3 weeks! Yip finally the Jardim familia are on vacation!
We left JHB international on Sunday night, and yes Jaime left JHB international news cafe with his signature vomit mmmm just to make sure SA wont forget him...LOVELY hey ...can a parent get more embarrassed???? Anyway the long haul flight of 15 hours, JHB to JFK was unexpectedly good. For Jaime's first time ever on a plane, I was really expecting the worst but Jaime handled the plane flight really really well, so well in fact, that he slept most of the flight. Thank God for that, cause I was completely warn out.
We arrived in NY 7:40 am, hung around JFK airport for 4 hours, then caught a really small plane off to Boston airport. LOL our bags arrived before us, so poor Robby had to stand guard for an hour waiting for us to arrive!

Our first day was filled to the brim with getting to know each other (bonding kinda stuff)...
playing .... Jaime went absolutely nuts with all the new toys
eating ...ok this is't new, eggs still taste the same in SA and surprise Jaime still did't munch them down excitedly...but I have to give him some credit, he did want to share every bite with his cuzzie
bath time...washing Robby's hair
ah my Jaime...
Jaime and Robby matching towels (always checking each other out!)

before bed time play Jaime's gift to Robby from SA...oh look matching PJ's ha ha ha

And the biggest first of the day....

ok ok its been a month!

Its bin a whole month since I've kept you in the loop of what is happening in the life of Mr Jaime Jardim. Life in the Jardim house has been a little hectic that I cannot even tell you what went on in the month of August! The only actual photo of Jaime that I do have is that of Jaime and his girlfriends, Chanel and Gizela taking a bath in Dalstroom on a weekend away for aunty Carmi's birthday.

ok ok but onto the big news .... Ili Jaime and I .....are in the USA!
